    1. Princeless is fantastic but the one I put here in particular, Raven’s spinoff series, is even better. I love it so much. And that copy of Emma is also in Frenchโ€”maybe that’s why it’s so beautiful. ๐Ÿ™‚ (No, I don’t read French, but (1) I would like to learn and (2) I’d want to own the book even if I don’t.)

      1. Yea, that Raven one is what I have on my TBR though I think I should start with the original since I’ve never read any of the Princeless comics before.
Oh in French! No wonder it’s so pretty.

  1. I just started listening to H Is For Hawk on audiobook and I have to say based on the rave reviews I’ve heard of it, it was nothing like what I expected. It’s unbearably slow and not really about hawks or falconers at all but a sort of rambling biography of T.H. White. I wouldn’t recommend it and in fact abandoned it a quarter of the way in, but you may have to find out for yourself ๐Ÿ™‚

    1. Oh, that’s too bad. I actually loved it, but I totally see how the T.H. White stuff was off-putting for some people. I also don’t think I would have enjoyed it on audio; some books just don’t translate well to that medium. But it was one of my favorite books of last year, when I read it.

  2. Almost all of these books are ones I’ve already read, and that’s why I want to own themโ€”I don’t often risk buying books unless I know I will like them.
